Hailing from Vermillion, South Dakota, Leila’s Rose is a cover band that has taken the local and regional stages by storm. Revered for their electrifying performances, they have become synonymous with energetic and unforgettable live shows. Playing everything from 70’s rock to 2010’s pop hits, there is always something for everyone at a Leila’s Rose show.
Formed in the fall of 2021 when Adam Kays, Kadin Williams, and Connor Drahota rushed Beta Theta Pi at the University of South Dakota, the new members joined with active members Easton Ritz, Micah Hansen, and John Kunkel to create a new music group. Easton proposed the name “Leila’s Rose” to pay homage to their Beta roots; the rest is history.
Initially playing at sorority mixers, Leila’s Rose quickly progressed to playing various bars in Vermilion. Since then, they’ve performed across the region, taking the stage in South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. They are one of the premier college bands in the state, consistently playing for packed crowds at South Dakota State University and The University of South Dakota. Their notoriety even landed them a gig as 24kGoldn’s opening act at the Sanford Coyotes Sports Center. Their high-energy performances and deep catalog of material guarantee that you won’t want to miss a show. Whether at a private event, a dive bar, or as an opening act, Leila’s Rose makes sure to put on a show you won’t forget.
